The Village Academy

Guiding Principles
The Village Academy offers the opportunity to integrate a variety of methodologies to meet each child's individualized educational goals.

Our approach at The Village Academy is based on Academics supported by Speech and Language Therapy,  Occupational Therapy, Sensory Integration, Floortime Approach and socialization with peers, during group activities and natural environment teaching.

The Village Academy is governed by a board of directors to ensure that the non-profit mandate is upheld and that funds received will be directly used to provide a highly intensive and individualized program for its students. 

The staff at The Village Academy are trained and follow the Principles of Professional Conduct for the Education Profession in Florida.

Who We Are

The Village Academy seeks to provide the best possible program for children with Autism, Sensory Processing Disorders [sometimes called "sensory integration dysfunction"] and Speech Language Disorders. 

We are a non-profit private school that incorporates the "best practices" in the field of  Autism, Sensory Processing Disorders and Language Intervention by a team of the most highly qualified and experienced teachers and therapists in the area, with the time, energy and commitment to provide intensive, caring interventions.
